Responsibility:

• Operate, monitor and maintain 11kV electrical distribution system

•  Ensure safe and reliable operation of the factory power supply system.

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance for electrical systems and facility equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and support breakdown recovery to minimize production downtime.

• Oversee plant utilities. 

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance work.

• Supervise and manage contractors for electrical and facility maintenance works.

• Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), DOSH and internal safety regulations.

• Liaise with utility providers (e.g., TNB) and government authorities to ensure compliance with utility service requirements and regulatory standards.

• Maintain documentation, maintenance records, switching logs and inspection reports.

• Support energy-saving initiatives and utility cost optimization.

• Participate in improvement projects.

•  Maintain and revise electrical drawings whenever there are system modifications or upgrades.

• Ensure all electrical drawings are kept up to date and properly documented for audit and compliance purposes.

• Assist in preparing documentation for Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) inspection and factory audits.

• To perform other task as assigned from time to time.

Requirement:

• Possess a at least a Chargeman BO 11 KV (High Voltage) competency certificate issued by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).

• Minimum 5 years of related job experience within a manufacturing or industrial gas setting, preferably in industrial gas or a similar industry.

• Knowledge of 11kV/LV electrical systems, ST regulations, facility utilities (HVAC, compressed air, fire protection), and preventive maintenance practices in a manufacturing environment.

• Can work independently and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (preferred). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

• Result-oriented, possess a strong sense of responsibility, urgency and commitment to meet deadlines.
