Job Description
- Assist the Merchandiser in managing customer orders from order confirmation through production and delivery.
- Coordinate with customers and internal departments regarding order requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Liaise closely with Production, Planning, Dyeing, Finishing, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments.
- Follow up on fabric development, lab dips, sample submissions, approvals, and production status.
- Monitor fabric production progress and ensure orders meet customer requirements and agreed delivery dates.
- Follow up on yarn, greige fabric, dyes, chemicals, and other production materials required for orders.
- Prepare and maintain merchandising documents, order records, production status reports, and customer updates.
- Communicate customer requirements clearly to the relevant factory departments.
- Assist in resolving production, quality, delivery, and material-related issues.
- Monitor and update order status from development stage until final shipment.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure fabric quality meets customer specifications.
- Assist the Merchandiser in preparing quotations, costing, order sheets, and other relevant documents.
- Perform other merchandising duties assigned by the Merchandising Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Textile, Textile Technology, Textile Manufacturing, Apparel, Fashion, Merchandising, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in textile manufacturing, fabric production, dyeing, finishing, or merchandising is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and factory operations.
- Understanding of fabric specifications, quality requirements, and production processes is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
