Taiko Bleaching Earth Hiring! Full Time Logistic Manager in Perak - Ricebowl

We are Asia largest producer and fastest growing Bleaching Earth Clay Group Companies. We have seven manufacturing plants in three different countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Job Responsibilities (included but not limited to):                             

• To ensure proper receipt, storage and dispatch of finished goods and materials in accordance with customer requirements and the FIFO system.

• To maintain accurate inventory records, conduct periodic stock counts and ensure timely updates in the SAP system.

• To manage and ensure the proper maintenance, licensing, permits and regulatory compliance of company vehicles and transportation activities.

• To coordinate the transportation and disposal of scheduled waste in accordance with regulatory and environmental requirements.

• To liaise with relevant government authorities and agencies on permits, licences and other statutory requirements.

• To oversee purchasing activities, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers, price comparison, negotiation and preparation of purchasing reports.

• To handle logistics-related customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions, root cause analysis and improvement plans.

• To ensure warehouse, logistics and purchasing operations comply with Company policies, SOPs, relevant ISO standards and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration or related field.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with managerial or supervisory experience.

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, fleet and transportation management.

• Experience in handling dry bulk cargo and tanker operations is an advantage.

• Experience in chemical or heavy manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Able to work independently and handle pressure.

• Good planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Computer literate.

• Position is based in Parit Buntar, Perak.
