WE’RE HIRING | ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE MANAGER (AEM)

Bertam Resort is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Executive Assistant Manager to lead resort operations and support our integration with Marriott. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to strengthen service standards, develop our teams and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily resort operations and ensure departments work together effectively
• Lead and support department heads in achieving operational, financial and guest satisfaction goals
• Monitor service quality, guest feedback and operational performance, and take prompt action where improvements are needed
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control and revenue initiatives
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, accountability and clear performance expectations
• Ensure operational standards and practices are aligned with Marriott requirements
• Resolve complex guest and operational issues while maintaining a high standard of service

Requirements:

• At least 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry
• At least 5 years of experience with Marriott-branded hotels or resorts
• Broad experience leading hotel or resort operations across multiple departments
• A strong understanding of guest experience, revenue performance and financial control
• Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems and deliver measurable results
• Strong communication, decision-making and stakeholder management skills
