Location: Kuching

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 2–3 years managing multiple retail outlets.
• Previous experience as an Area Manager, District Manager, Multi-Store Manager, or Senior Store Manager is highly preferred.
• Experience in sportswear, footwear, fashion, department store, or lifestyle retail is an added advantage.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales management, inventory control, visual merchandising, and customer service.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel frequently within East Malaysia.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking employees, customers, and business partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall operations and performance of multiple retail stores within the assigned region.
• Drive sales growth and ensure all stores consistently achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor key retail KPIs including sales, conversion rate, Average Transaction Value (ATV), Units Per Transaction (UPT), productivity, and shrinkage.
• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to maximize team performance and succession planning.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure operational excellence, visual merchandising standards, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
• Review sales reports and market trends to identify business opportunities and implement effective action plans.
• Ensure company SOPs, policies, and operational standards are consistently followed across all outlets.
• Manage manpower planning, staff productivity, performance evaluations, and employee development.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, and HR teams to execute business initiatives and promotional campaigns.
• Resolve operational challenges and customer issues professionally and efficiently.
• Prepare operational reports and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability and overall business performance.
