Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective measures.
2. Educate and train site personnel on construction safety regulations, emergency protocols, and safe work practices.
3. Coordinate and conduct accident and incident investigations, prepare reports, and follow up with corrective and preventive actions.
4. Ensure that safety measures and site safety plans are properly implemented in compliance with all relevant safety laws, regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOSH), industry standards, and project-specific requirements.
5. Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors, and relevant authorities on all safety-related matters.
6. Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation as required by the Management and regulatory bodies.
7. Carry out any other safety and health duties as assigned by the Superior / the Management from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Must be a valid Yellow Book holder (registered Site Safety Supervisor with DOSH, Malaysia).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with main contractors, sub-contractors, or developers preferred.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in preparing safety documentation and reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
