Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Section Manager, Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer demand, planning test capacity, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery to meet customer requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview and understand customer demand forecasts and upload demand into the automated test planning system.
Analyze test planning output against customer demand before releasing plans to the production team.
Coordinate with Test Engineering teams to determine test requirements for new products and devices.
Monitor daily test performance, identify potential delivery risks, and work with Production to implement recovery plans.
Support system time requests for test program development, validation, and debugging activities, while proactively informing customers of any potential delivery impact.
Manage test capacity and resource allocation in line with production schedules.
Plan and coordinate offshore/subcontractor lot scheduling through the designated scheduling system.
Manage issue tracker, AER, NPI, and E lots for pre-test inventory setup, test allocation, and shipment planning according to customer requirements.
Ensure all scheduled lots have the required Purchase Orders (POs) for billing purposes.
Handle customer return lots under ECPRN/RMA processes and ensure complete documentation is provided for system transactions.
Coordinate return lot activities with customers to ensure the correct process flow is followed from testing through shipment.
Manage ENQ lots according to customer or internal instructions.
Work closely with Maintenance teams to expedite handler conversions and equipment movements when required.
Ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance meets established targets.
Provide feedback to customers when loading levels or WIP inventory exceed the 14-day inventory target.
Coordinate with Assembly teams to expedite or slow down loading activities to maintain WIP inventory within target levels.
Review quarterly demand forecasts and plan ahead to complete orders earlier than requested delivery dates where possible.
Update the RFD file daily and review WIP conditions to support order fulfillment decisions.
Arrange CBOM splitting and conversion activities to meet required customer orders (REN).
Bachelor's Degree holders: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
Diploma/SPM holders: Minimum 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
Experience in production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, or semiconductor operations.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
