CHEF – JAPANESE-WESTERN CUISINE

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Chef with a background in Japanese-Western cuisine to join our restaurant team.

Requirements:

• Experience in Japanese and/or Western cuisine
• Able to prepare dishes according to recipes and food-quality standards
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen hygiene
• Able to manage kitchen operations and maintain consistent food quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Responsible, disciplined and willing to work shifts
• Relevant culinary experience or qualifications preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook Japanese & Western dishes
• Maintain food quality, presentation and consistency
• Monitor food stock and minimise wastage
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Assist with menu development and new dishes when required
• Ensure smooth daily kitchen operations
