Responsibilities
Purpose of the Position
As a Production Supervisor to managing a workforce, to involves full day to day supervision of all aspects of concrete production and delivery.
Responsibilities & Duties
Understand, implement and manage compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
To promote and communicate a positive health and safety culture.
To produce health and safety procedures, risk assessments, safe systems of work, and toolbox talks.
Undertake regular safety inspections of the plant, equipment, and vehicles; ensuring defects are identified and that effective remedial action is taken.
Ensure that all employees possess the necessary levels of competence and ensure appropriate training is provided.
Upkeep of safety and cleanliness of production area, maintenance of plant equipment
Ensure that all operational processes are carried out in line with Company Quality Management System.
To promote a quality culture to ensure that the concrete supplied is within tolerance and meets the customer’s requirements.
Identification of causes of quality failures and implementing remedial action.
Daily supervision of order and delivery of concrete to ensure a high level of customer service is achieved at optimal efficiency.
Site liaison for larger construction sites.
Dealing with customer service complaints.
To do periodic follow up on client status
To visit or conduct checking of staff performance at client site
Ensure that the batching plants, machinery, and vehicles are maintained and that a proactive preventative planned maintenance program is adopted with the aim of optimizing plant and equipment availability.
Analysis of plant and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and implementation at a reasonable cost.
To ensure the company operates at the lowest practicable production cost.
Upkeep
Monthly raw material stock checks and stock reconciliations
Liaison with raw material HQ person in charge to ensure stock levels are maintained at satisfactory levels and action is taken to mitigate any possible effects of raw material shortages.
Review, control, and authorization of staff overtime.
Organisation of production department staffing, including identifying new staffing needs.
Dealing with timekeeping and disciplinary issues.
Staff development and coaching.
As part of a dynamic working environment it remains your responsibility to manage your own time and priorities.
Be proactive, using initiative and awareness, to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the department.
Responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior or management deem fit.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
