About the role

We are searching for a talented Quantity Surveyor (Estimator) to join our dedicated team at Kerisik Resources Sdn Bhd. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and providing expert quantity surveying services to support our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Analysing project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates

2. Measuring quantities of materials, labour, and equipment required for construction projects

3. Negotiating and securing competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

4. Providing regular cost updates and forecasts to project managers and clients

5. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending value engineering solutions

6. Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful construction projects

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

2. Minimum 3 or 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in the construction industry

3. Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques

4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

6. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

7. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
