About the Role
- We're looking for one creative, hands-on generalist to become our first in-house Content & Creative Lead: someone who can pick up a camera, run a shoot, edit the footage, and also think through the concept and strategy behind it.
- This isn't a narrow "videographer" role where someone else hands you a shot list. You'll own the creative process end-to-end, working across client projects, selected founder-led ventures, and new content initiatives.
- You'll be our first dedicated content hire, working directly with the founder and having real input into how the content function is built — from the content we create today to the systems and eventual team behind it.
What You'll Work on
- The role will ramp up progressively, you won't be expected to take on everything below from day one. You'll start with a focused portfolio of around three brands/projects, with responsibilities introduced gradually as you settle into the role and we build the content function together.
- Client Projects: (i) Create short-form videos, static content and event coverage across different client accounts and industries; (ii) Concept development and a monthly content calendar; (iii) Own shoots from planning to final edit, including storyboarding, filming, directing on-camera talent and post-production; (iv) Coordinate directly with clients on shoot schedules, requirements and approvals.
- Founder-Led Venture: (i) Create ongoing social content for selected businesses and projects led by the founder; (ii) Film programmes, activations, events and behind-the-scenes content; (iii) Plan content ideas and posting cadences, while keeping an eye on trends and opportunities; (iv) Support occasional weekend activation coverage, with time off in lieu.
- Founder Content & Future Initiatives: (i) Develop narrative-driven, personality-led short-form content with the founder; (ii) Turn ideas, experiences and stories into engaging social content; (iii) Experiment with new formats and support new content verticals as they develop.
- The focus will evolve over time based on priorities and capacity. Early on, the role will be very hands-on with shooting, editing and execution across a small number of core projects. As the function grows, the opportunity is to move towards greater creative ownership, strategy and eventually briefing or managing other creatives.
What You'll Need
- 1–3+ years of hands-on video production experience, covering both filming and editing.
- Comfortable owning a piece of content from concept to final cut — including storyboarding, shoot planning, on-site direction and post-production.
- Working proficiency with CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar, plus photography basics for product and static content.
- A strong understanding of social-first content — hooks, pacing, storytelling, trends and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Comfortable working across multiple brands, projects and locations at once.
- Confident communicating with clients and directing non-professional on-camera talent when needed.
- Own basic filming equipment and a laptop capable of video editing. Transport for shoots and required software subscriptions will be covered.
- Based in Singapore and able to travel between shoot locations across the island.
Nice to Have
- Comfortable appearing on camera occasionally.
- Experience working across multiple brands or clients, whether agency, freelance or in-house.
- An interest in eventually leading, briefing and reviewing other creatives as the team grows.
Why This Role
- Range, not repetition. You'll work across different industries, audiences and formats — from commercial client work to activations and narrative content.
- Ownership from day one. You'll help shape the concepts, calendars and creative direction behind the work.
- Build from the ground floor. As our content function grows, the goal isn't for you to remain the sole person shooting and editing forever. You'll be well positioned to help build the systems and eventually the creative team around you.
- Become a creative generalist, on purpose. If you want to become someone who can think strategically, create, execute and eventually run a content function, that's exactly the direction this role is designed to grow towards.
- This role comes with a high degree of autonomy, exposure and responsibility from the start.
Compensation
- Fixed monthly salary, commensurate with experience
- CPF contributions in accordance with statutory requirements
- Discretionary performance bonus
- Transport for work-related shoots covered
- Required software subscriptions covered
- Time off in lieu for weekend activation coverage
