About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team at our Seri Iskandar Perak location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales and customer satisfaction within our optical retail environment. As a Salesperson, you will be the face of Zhafran Optometry, building relationships with customers and helping them discover eyewear solutions that meet their needs and lifestyle. You will contribute directly to the success of our store by delivering exceptional service, achieving sales targets, and promoting our range of products and services.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting customers warmly and providing excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience

• Assisting customers in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their vision requirements, face shape, style preferences and budget

• Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers, including frames, lenses and accessories

• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system

• Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of our product range, pricing and current promotions

• Achieving individual and store sales targets through effective selling techniques and customer engagement

• Keeping the sales floor tidy, well-organised and attractively displayed

• Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally and courteously, escalating issues where necessary

• Supporting the store team in inventory management and stock replenishment activities

• Building strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in retail sales, preferably within optical, fashion accessories or a similar customer-facing environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport

• Strong sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Product knowledge or willingness to quickly develop expertise in eyewear, frames and optical products

• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions and maintaining records

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also taking initiative independently

• Professional appearance and presentation appropriate for a retail optical environment

• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required

• Basic numeracy skills and proficiency with retail technology and point-of-sale systems

• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience
