Cheme Advance Sdn. Bhd. Hiring! Full Time Contract Laboratory Assistant (3 months) in Selangor - Ricebowl

Contract Period: Feb 2027 till Apr 2027

Responsibilities

1.     Perform laboratory testing and analysis under the supervision of laboratory personnel.

• Activated Sludge Analysis
• Microscopic Analysis
• Related lab testing such as COD, Metal Analysis and other water and wastewater-related parameters.
• Jar Test if required by the superior.

2.     Assist laboratory personnel in routine laboratory activities and sample preparation.

3.     Record test results and laboratory activities accurately.

4.     Assist with laboratory documentation, filing, and data entry.

5.     Assist in maintaining laboratory cleanliness, housekeeping, and good laboratory practices.

6.     Ensure laboratory equipment, glassware, and work areas are properly cleaned and maintained.

7.     Perform any related duties assigned by the superior when required.

8.     Follow laboratory safety procedures, SOPs, and relevant quality requirements.

Requirements

• At least a Diploma in Science, Applied Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field, or currently pursuing a science-related degree at a university and available during the semester break.
• Candidates with basic knowledge of chemistry, environmental science, or wastewater analysis will be an advantage.
• Willing to perform hands-on laboratory work and routine laboratory tasks.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good attention to detail and able to maintain accurate records.
• Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduates and university students from a science-related background are encouraged to apply.
