About the role

We are seeking a qualified Dentist to join PMG HEALTHCARE SDN. BHD. in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. This is a full-time position offering you the opportunity to provide high-quality dental care and make a meaningful difference in the oral health of our patients. As a Dentist, you will be at the forefront of our clinical operations, delivering comprehensive dental services whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient care and professional practice.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough oral examinations and diagnosing dental conditions using clinical assessment and radiographic imaging

• Providing preventative, restorative and cosmetic dental treatments including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy and scaling

• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients based on their specific dental needs

• Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care measures to maintain optimal dental health

• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements

• Collaborating with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient clinic operations and quality patient care

• Adhering to sterilisation protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment

• Staying current with advancements in dental practice and continuing professional development

• Managing patient concerns and complaints professionally whilst maintaining patient confidentiality

What we're looking for

• A recognised dental qualification (DDS/BDS or equivalent) from an accredited institution

• Valid dental registration or licensure in Malaysia

• Minimum 2 years of clinical dental experience in a healthcare setting

• Strong clinical skills in general dentistry procedures and patient management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients and colleagues

• Knowledge of dental materials, equipment and current treatment techniques

• A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and clinical hygiene

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Professional demeanour and a patient-centred approach to dental care

• Willingness to engage in professional development and continued learning
