About the role

• Handle the full set of accounts, including preparation of monthly accounts and financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor the company's cash flow and bank balances
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial information for management and shareholders
• Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis and monitoring of company expenses
• Manage accounts payable, invoicing and payments to vendors and service providers
• Monitor FD accounts and other financial matters of the company
• Assist with payroll and statutory payment monitoring
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and other external parties when required
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents
• Assist in preparing Board papers and financial information for management meetings

About

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance is preferred
• Good understanding of full set accounting and basic financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Familiar with accounting software such as AutoCount, UBS or other accounting systems will be an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
