Scrap Baler Operator – Job Scope

• Operate the scrap baler machine safely and according to SOP.
• Collect, sort and feed aluminium scrap into the baler.
• Compress and prepare scrap into bales according to required specifications.
• Handle and transfer completed bales to the designated storage area.
• Conduct basic machine and safety checks before and during operation.
• Report machine abnormalities, breakdowns or safety issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area.
• Complete required production and scrap records.
• Follow all safety, quality and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
