About the Role

We are looking for an Executive, Risk Management to join our Group Risk Management team. In this role, you will assist the Head of Department in providing risk management services and risk reporting activities. You will play an important role in supporting the Group to achieve its objectives by ensuring significant business, operational and project risks are identified, assessed and appropriately managed through effective controls and mitigation action plans.

What You'll Be Doing

Risk Management & Reporting

• Provide support and assistance in the provision of risk management services to business divisions and departments across the Group.
• Support risk reporting activities and ensure accurate and timely submission of risk-related information.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, treating, monitoring and reviewing risks.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation of risk management processes, outcomes and mitigation actions.

Risk Framework & Implementation

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk Management, Project Risk Management and Specialised Risk Management Frameworks.
• Support business divisions in integrating risk management practices into their day-to-day operations.
• Follow up on risk mitigation and treatment plans to ensure appropriate actions are implemented.

Risk Assessment & Review

• Assist in conducting risk assessments, including credit risk assessments and other risk reviews as required.
• Support the identification and assessment of current and emerging risks that may impact the Group.
• Monitor relevant macroeconomic, business and industry developments and assess their potential impact on the organisation.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business divisions and departments across the Group to promote effective risk management practices.
• Provide support in communicating risk management concepts, requirements and processes to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain effective communication and liaison with internal stakeholders on risk-related matters.

Records, Analysis & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date risk management records to support planning, analysis, reporting and review activities.
• Prepare risk-related reports, analysis and presentations as required.
• Report to the superior on day-to-day activities, risk matters and issues requiring attention.

Other Responsibilities

• Handle other risk management matters and assignments as required by the superior.

What We're Looking For

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Risk Management, Business Studies, Finance or other relevant disciplines.

Experience

• 1 - 2 years of working experience in risk management or a related field.
• Candidates with relevant risk management experience are preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe risks, controls and mitigation measures.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of risk management concepts and frameworks.
• Awareness of current and emerging macroeconomic, business and industry issues.
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.

Language Requirements

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
