Job Description

• Assist the Cook in daily food preparation and cooking activities.
• Prepare ingredients such as cutting, washing, weighing and portioning.
• Follow recipes, food preparation procedures and company SOPs.
• Ensure food is prepared according to quality, taste and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work area.
• Assist with receiving, storing and checking food ingredients.
• Monitor food stock and report shortages or damaged ingredients.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food ingredients.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.
• Follow food safety and hygiene requirements at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods and peak hours.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Cook or Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a kitchen/F&B environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to perform kitchen duties.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
