Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. To develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Responsible for overall project controlling activities that include scheduling, achievement of cost saving, maintaining quality of project deliverables, mitigating risks and realization of project goals.
• Lead project teams to execute project tasks according to achieve agreed targets for assigned projects within the procedure and customers’ expectations.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
• Prepare and update project planning that includes resources planning, project schedule and cost calculations ensuring projects are completed within deadlines and budgets.
• Evaluate effectively, select and manage subcontractors to achieve optimal cost, delivery and quality of materials sourced.
• Facilitate project closure activities, including finalizing deliverables and obtaining customers’ acceptance.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing project budgets and cost estimates, monitor project expenses and resource utilization and ensure project activities are carried out within the allocated budget.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, authorities, subcontractors and team members to ensure effective communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the field.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to anticipate potential issues and develop proactive solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
