Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, and mail flow and transport rules.
  • Administer SharePoint and OneDrive sites, storage quotas, external sharing controls, and permission structures.
  • Handle Entra ID identity tasks, group governance, conditional access support, and periodic access reviews.
  • Manage license assignment and optimization, and execute tenant configuration changes through the change process.
  • Apply retention, data protection, sensitivity labelling, and compliance policies across M365 workloads.
  • Monitor service health, respond to incidents, and communicate impact and workarounds to affected users.
  • Investigate mail delivery, spam, and phishing reports in partnership with the security team.
  • Support migrations and tenant changes, including mailbox moves, site provisioning, and data reorganization.
  • Run eDiscovery, legal hold, and audit-log requests raised by compliance, HR, or legal stakeholders.
  • Report on tenant usage, adoption, and license consumption to guide renewals and rightsizing.


Job Requirement

  • 5+ years administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise or multi-site environment.
  • Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 workloads such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID.
  • Working knowledge of mailbox administration, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, mail flow, transport rules, and tenant configuration.
  • Experience managing SharePoint and OneDrive sites, permissions, storage quotas, external sharing controls, and information governance.
  • Understanding of Entra ID identity tasks, group governance, conditional access support, access reviews, and licensing optimization.
  • Experience applying retention, data protection, sensitivity labeling, and compliance policies across Microsoft 365 workloads.
  • Ability to monitor service health, respond to incidents, communicate impact, and coordinate workarounds for affected users.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery, legal hold, audit log requests, mail delivery investigations, spam, and phishing workflows.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, analytical, service management, and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Preferred: PowerShell, migrations, Purview, Defender, Intune, or Microsoft certifications.
