WE ARE HIRING – SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Location: Putrajaya
Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Contract & Commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project commercial activities, cost control and contract administration from tender stage through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, tender pricing and proposals.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Prepare and manage interim valuations, progress claims and invoicing.
• Handle variations, additional works, claims and contractual matters.
• Obtain, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments and commercial performance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments.
• Prepare commercial reports and maintain proper project documentation.
• Identify commercial risks and provide recommendations to Management.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying / Contract & Commercial.
• Strong knowledge of tendering, estimation, valuation, claims, variation and cost control.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
