WE’RE HIRING | HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Bertam Resort & Water Park, Penang

We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to support daily housekeeping operations and ensure our guest rooms and public areas are clean, well maintained and ready for guests. The successful candidate will lead the housekeeping team on shift and work closely with Front Office and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign daily room cleaning and public area duties to housekeeping team members
• Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation and amenities meet hotel standards
• Monitor room status and coordinate room readiness with Front Office
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping concerns
• Report maintenance defects and follow up until they are addressed
• Monitor linen, guest supplies and cleaning materials to avoid shortages and wastage
• Train team members on cleaning procedures, safe chemical handling and service standards
• Support the Assistant Executive Housekeeper or Executive Housekeeper with daily reports and shift handovers

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort
• Prior team leader or supervisory experience is preferred
• Good attention to detail, communication and team coordination skills
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
