About the role

The role involves implementing and supporting the company's Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and management system standards. You will oversee workplace safety inspections, risk monitoring, incident management, environmental compliance, and chemical management activities across operational areas.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support the company's EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and management system standards

• Oversee workplace safety inspections, risk monitoring, incident management, environmental compliance, and chemical management activities across operational areas

• Manage EHS documentation, compliance records, ESG reporting data, training coordination, and audit support to maintain regulatory and certification requirements

• Work closely with operational departments to promote workplace safety awareness, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in EHS management, environment compliance, and workplace safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Hands-on experience with implementing and maintaining compliance and regulatory reporting

• Good understanding of Malaysian EHS regulations and compliance requirements

• Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRARC), and incident investigation

• Familiar with workplace safety inspections, compliance monitoring, and audit support

• Knowledge of environmental compliance, scheduled waste management, and chemical safety requirements

• Proficient in EHS documentation, reporting, and compliance record management
