Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage daily HR operations and provide HR support to employees and management.
  • Handle monthly payroll processing, including basic salary, overtime (OT), allowances, deductions, unpaid leave, and other payroll adjustments.
  • Verify attendance, shift schedules, overtime, leave, MC, absenteeism, and lateness before payroll processing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly payroll for all employees, including production operators, office staff, and contract workers.
  • Handle statutory payroll matters including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, and other applicable statutory requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports, salary summaries, overtime reports, and manpower cost reports for management.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and employee records and ensure confidentiality of salary information.
  • Manage recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and employee orientation.
  • Coordinate manpower requirements with Production and other departments.
  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Prepare HR reports related to manpower, attendance, turnover, absenteeism, overtime, and payroll.
  • Coordinate employee training, induction, skills development, and competency records.
  • Support performance appraisal and KPI activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company HR policies and Malaysian labour requirements.
  • Assist in managing foreign workers, work permits, and related documentation where applicable.
  • Support ISO, customer, and other compliance audits.
  • Work closely with Production Supervisors and HODs to resolve manpower and employee-related issues.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of HR and payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Strong experience in monthly payroll processing and attendance management.
  • Familiar with Malaysian statutory requirements such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB/MTD.
  • Experience handling production operators, shift workers, overtime, and factory attendance is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and labour requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with HR/payroll systems is an advantage.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in wire harness, automotive, electronics, EMS, or other manufacturing industries is an advantage.
