Responsibilities
QA Strategy
Define and drive the QA approach for Salesforce Sales Cloud, aligned with project objectives, milestones and business risks
Requirements & Testability
Review requirements, acceptance criteria and solution designs from quality, risk, integration and testability perspectives
Functional & System Testing
Design, execute and coordinate functional, system, regression, end-to-end and user acceptance testing activities
Salesforce Validation
Validate Salesforce Flows, lead and account processes, record types, assignment rules, validation rules, permissions, reports and dashboards
API & Integration Testing
Plan and execute API and Platform Event testing, including positive, negative, exception, retry and data-consistency scenarios
Data Flow Validation
Validate end-to-end data flows and business outcomes across Salesforce Sales Cloud and connected enterprise systems
Defect & Quality Management
Own defect management, quality reporting, risk visibility and release-readiness recommendations for the Sales Cloud workstream
Release & Continuous Improvement
Support deployment validation, production verification, hypercare and handover while identifying test automation opportunities
Requirements
QA Experience
5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including at least 3 years supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations
Recent Salesforce Experience
Recent hands-on Salesforce experience, including involvement in or delivery of a Salesforce implementation within the last 2 years
Sales Cloud Testing
Strong hands-on testing experience with leads, accounts, lead conversion and routing, Flows, validation rules, record types, assignment rules, permissions, security and reporting
API Testing
Strong hands-on API and integration testing experience using Postman or an equivalent tool, including payloads, error handling and data consistency
Platform Events
Experience testing Salesforce Platform Events or comparable asynchronous integration patterns
End-to-End Integration
Strong experience testing system integrations and end-to-end business processes across connected enterprise applications
Risk-Based Testing
Ability to translate business and technical requirements into risk-based coverage, meaningful test scenarios and clear acceptance evidence
Defect & Stakeholder Management
Experience owning defects, quality reporting and release readiness while collaborating with Product Owners, BAs, Architects, Developers and business users
