About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to handle electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work at our facilities in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local technical standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Assembly: Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, power systems, and control panels.
• Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical circuits, machinery, switchboards, and distribution systems.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers, etc.) and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to occupational safety guidelines (DOSH/OSHA) and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, equipment updates, and spare parts inventory.
• Technical Support: Assist with facility upgrades, power management initiatives, and collaborate with contractors during electrical installation projects.

Requirements

• Certification: Minimum Wireman Competency Certificate (A0/A1/A4) from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) or a relevant certificate/diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–4 years of practical experience as an electrician in an industrial, manufacturing, or commercial setting.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, electrical schematics, and single-line diagrams (SLD).
• Hands-on knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Strong diagnostic and practical troubleshooting skills.
• Languages: Basic Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Location: Based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan (willingness to perform shift work or standby duties if required).

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
