Cook – Goreng Mamak

Restoran Aqiza Nilai is looking for an experienced Mamak Cook to prepare freshly cooked mamak-style dishes for our customers.

• Salary: From RM1,900++ per month, depending on experience and ability
• Location: Nilai Impian, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan
• Working Hours: 12:00pm-9:00pm
• Employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Staff Meal: Provided

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook mamak-style dishes such as mee goreng, nasi goreng, maggi goreng and other related menu items
• Handle customer orders accurately and prepare food efficiently during busy periods
• Maintain consistent taste, quality and portioning
• Prepare ingredients and keep the cooking station ready for service
• Monitor ingredients and inform management when stock is running low
• Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene at the cooking station
• Assist with taking orders or serving customers when the cooking station is not busy
• Work together with other cooks and restaurant staff
• Follow food safety and restaurant operating procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Tukang Masak Mamak / Mamak Cook is strongly preferred
• Able to cook mamak-style dishes independently
• Able to manage multiple orders during busy periods
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia
• Responsible, punctual and reliable
• Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia
• Malaysian citizens are encouraged to apply
• Candidates who can start soon are preferred
