1. Product Design & Development

• Develop new product concepts based on brand direction, market trends and customer needs.
• Create sketches, mood boards, design concepts and product presentations.
• Develop and refine product designs based on feedback from the HOD and relevant teams.
• Translate creative concepts into practical and commercially viable products.
• Ensure designs are aligned with brand identity, target customer and pricing direction.
• Assist in developing seasonal and new product collections.

2. Product Specification & Technical Support

• Prepare product specifications, measurements, material details, colour references and design requirements.
• Prepare technical drawings / design references for production and suppliers.
• Work with suppliers and production teams to clarify design requirements.
• Review samples and identify design, proportion, colour, material or finishing issues.
• Make necessary design adjustments based on sample review and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate product development records and design files.

3. Market & Trend Research

• Conduct research on current fashion, footwear, lifestyle and consumer trends.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, colours, materials and design directions
• Identify opportunities for new products based on market trends and customer preferences.
• Translate trend research into relevant product concepts suitable for the company's target market.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Merchandising, E-Commerce and Production teams.
• Communicate design concepts clearly to internal teams and external suppliers.
• Participate in product review and development meetings.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure designs progress according to timeline.
• Be open to feedback and able to adjust designs based on commercial and operational requirements.

5. Sample Review & Quality

• Review product samples against approved designs and specifications.
• Identify inconsistencies between the approved design and actual samples.
• Provide clear feedback and amendments to suppliers or production teams.
• Assist in ensuring the final product meets the intended design, quality and brand standards.

6. Project & Timeline Management

• Manage assigned product development projects and meet agreed deadlines.
• Maintain a clear tracker for product development progress.
• Follow up on outstanding samples, amendments and approvals.
• Prioritise multiple projects according to business requirements.
• Escalate delays, production challenges or design issues to the HOD promptly.

7. Documentation & Design Asset Management

• Maintain organised design files, artwork, technical drawings and product specifications.
• Ensure the latest approved version of designs is used for production.
• Prepare presentations and product development materials when required.
• Keep product documentation updated throughout the development process.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
