Job Description

Responsibilities

Location: AGF, Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan

What You’ll Do

  • Lead equipment reliability and maintenance improvement across manufacturing and packaging operations.
  • Troubleshoot recurring equipment failures and identify permanent solutions.
  • Improve equipment availability, production efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Develop and strengthen preventive & condition-based maintenance systems.
  • Analyse equipment performance, breakdown trends, MTBF and MTTR.
  • Lead equipment inspection, repair, modification, installation and commissioning.
  • Work with vendors and contractors on technical solutions and equipment improvement projects.
  • Evaluate equipment upgrades, refurbishment, automation and CAPEX opportunities.
  • Prepare technical and business justifications for equipment improvement projects.
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance, QA, Procurement and other teams to deliver sustainable improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 8–15 years of relevant experience in equipment, maintenance or reliability engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with manufacturing, rotating and packaging equipment.
  • Experience in food, nutritional powder, dairy, pharmaceutical, FMCG or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, drives, bearings, seals, gearboxes, alignment and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with RCA, FMEA, preventive/predictive maintenance, MTBF and MTTR.
  • Experience in vendor management, equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Able to turn technical problems into practical and cost-effective solutions.
  • Hands-on and comfortable spending significant time on the production floor.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Mandarin-speaking ability is an advantage for communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Experience in liquid products manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
