The Butcher is responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, and displaying meat and poultry products to the highest standards while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to food safety regulations.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, cut, bone, grind, weigh, pack, and display meat according to specifications and customer orders.
• Receive, inspect, store, and maintain meat products at the required temperature and quality standards.
• Maintain adequate stock levels at the counter and chiller, including monitoring meat supplies and inventory records.
• Perform meat marinating and packing according to standard procedures, including ensuring correct PLU codes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workplace, equipment, counters, chillers, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, write-off, and stock handling procedures, and perform other duties assigned by Management.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:

• SPM/STPM or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Butcher or in meat preparation.
• Skilled in meat preparation, cutting, and deboning.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow customer specifications accurately.
• Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
• Good knowledge and awareness of food safety and hygiene practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
