About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ServiceNow Custom Application Development (App Engine/Custom Apps) and possess relevant ServiceNow CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) certification(s). This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture standards.
Lead solution architecture for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.
Architect and develop ServiceNow Custom Applications using App Engine Studio and ServiceNow development best practices.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, consultants, and project teams.
Define integration architecture with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub, and APIs.
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, governance, security, and performance standards.
Review solution designs, technical documentation, and code to maintain quality and scalability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define implementation roadmaps and technical strategies.
Support estimation, solution proposals, technical workshops, and client presentations.
Stay updated with new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend improvements to existing implementations.
Required Skills
8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of ServiceNow architecture experience.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow Custom Applications (App Engine Studio/Creator Workflows).
Experience designing enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
Hands-on knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and APIs.
Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth, JDBC, and MID Server.
Strong understanding of CMDB, Service Catalog, Service Portal, and platform architecture.
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Custom Applications/App Engine – Mandatory.
Experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect on enterprise-scale implementations.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
One or more ServiceNow CIS Certifications
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Preferred
Experience in consulting or large enterprise environments.
Experience leading global or regional ServiceNow implementation programs.
Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or GRC modules is an advantage.
Strong solution architecture and technical leadership skills.
Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders.
Experience delivering complex ServiceNow implementations with a focus on scalability, governance, and business value.
