Job Description :

Monitor sales of department and to achieve monthly sales targets.

• Assist on monitoring the mark up and to achieve good profit margin.
• Manage stock inventory level and to ensure the stock in store is properly arranged.
• Monitor, supervise and control of merchandise display and the pricing is correct.
• Negotiate with supplier on space rental.
• Ensure an organized housekeeping of department and no stocks are blocking the walkways/aisle
• Supervise works carried by subordinates completed timely.
• Cultivate good working culture among the staff and to provide guidance.
• Receive stock, check stock and equipment before the start of sales period or campaign.
• Maintain good relationship with suppliers and principles. Organize and carry out internal promotion or participate in display contest as one method to boost sales.
• Liaise with suppliers on issues related to pricing, rebate and stock return.
• Deal with customer enquiries and complaints.
• Check/verify reports before submitting to the Management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• At least with SPM/ STPM or Diploma Retailing/ Marketing/ Management or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in Retail.
• Experience in General Merchandise.
• Effective communication skills: ability to interact productively with supervisors and subordinates
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia with excellent communication skills.
• Hands on personality and able to perform any roles as and when required.
• May be required to work on shift, weekend or public holidays.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month

Work Location: In person
