Job Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and maintain products to meet customer, quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
• Work closely with the Production, QC, QA, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth product manufacturing.
• Review product designs, drawings, specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Identify and resolve product and manufacturing issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), product modification, and engineering change activities.
• Prepare and maintain product specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), work instructions, and other technical documents.
• Conduct product testing, validation, and evaluation to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
• Improve product manufacturability, production efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Investigate customer complaints and production defects and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Support trial production, sample production, and product approval processes.
• Liaise with suppliers on technical matters, material specifications, and product-related issues when required.
• Monitor and follow up on engineering changes to ensure proper implementation in production.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production-related product issues.
• Ensure engineering and manufacturing activities comply with company procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Perform other engineering and manufacturing-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in product engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, product development, and quality control.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering/design software is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
