Inter Island Hiring! Full Time Moulding Process Engineer in Johor, Earn up to MYR 7,000 - Ricebowl

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide Technical Leadership and directions to sustain / enhance and optimize molding process to achieve Quality, Delivery, and Cost efficient production with Standardization and implementing Best Practices.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:

1.0 Act as engineering resource to molding operation ensuring process standardization and Responsible for new tooling process set up / Optimization of existing process.

2.0 Participate in early design review and tool design / Modification of new product to ensure the process robustness to ensure Quality Level and meeting the process capabilities.

3.0 Provide engineering support in terms of production & quality issues to ensure issues are contained and resolved.

4.0 Collaborate with other related departments to ensure the process / equipment maintenance activities.

5.0 Train the new process technician / Tool Maker to meet their objectives and organization needs.

Authorities:

1.0 Authorities are given to stop production lines to rectify quality issues after two consecutive failures

2.0 Implement manufacturing related activities to enhance productivity

3.0 Audit production process to ensure compliance

4.0 Evaluate and make process changes with reference to approved TMS

PARTICIPATION IN DECISIONAL STRUCTURES WITHIN ONE’S UNIT AND/OR FOR INVESTMENT DECISIONS:

EDUCATION (Qualifications obtained in the course of formal education and/or training)

1.0 Degree / Diploma in any Engineering discipline ( Mechanical / Polymer Engineering ) more preferred

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

1.0 Min 3 Years’ experience in high precision injection molding and hands on experience in Molding Process set up and optimization.

2.0 Knowledge in Tooling Fabrication Technique will be an added advantage

SKILLS REQUIRED:

1.0 Molding process set up and optimization

2.0 Able to work on molding machines

3.0 Lean Manufacturing techniques

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
