Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and practices to ensure proper compliance to Company rules and guidelines set up for good corporate governance and control/coordination of job accountabilities and performance results.
• Handle full range of HR responsibilities comprising manpower planning, recruitment, compensation and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Manage HR matters relating to plantation operations, including estate workforce management, labour relations, manpower deployment, and employee welfare.
• Provide HR support to operational management teams within plantation environments including remote site operations, workforce diversity, and statutory compliance.
• Administer and managing the annual performance management process, systems administration as well enhancement and improvement.
• Analyze current rewards and recognition programs to ensure they align with the business strategy and ensure that rewards programs optimize the ability to attract, motivate and retain top talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 - 6 years of HR generalist experience in a large sized organization, with proven experience in managing multiple HR functions. Candidates with experience in plantation industry are encouraged to apply.
• Possess effective leadership and organizing skills in leading and influencing change and positive employee morale and discipline at operational level.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able and fit to travel, support estates and operational sites as and when necessary.
• Good integrity, high level of personal discipline and a hardworking personality are essential.
• Strong problem-solving ability with the capability to handle sensitive employee matters.
• Ability to work independently and engage effectively with employees at all levels.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to prepare HR reports and recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
• Willing to be based in Sandakan, Sabah.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
