Job Description:

• Maintaining the building's electrical supply and reticulation system, installations, and equipment.
• Day to day operations and maintenance of the entire facility, electrical installation and monitoring on high voltage facility equipment's performance.
• Responsible for the smooth day to day operations of all facilities and supporting system like machines and equipment, electricity, HVAC, compressed air, gases.
• To perform and execute all safety precautions and preventive maintenance of all electrical installations for LV distributions and 11kV system.
• To investigate and troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment and control system.
• To perform failure root cause analysis as to troubleshoot and avoiding repeating event again.
• To lead day-to-day plant maintenance of machinery, equipment, facilities, etc in achieving production reliability.
• To determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity, and skills of personnel.
• To oversee the completion and reporting of maintenance work done by subordinates. Monitor and coordinate maintenance and repairs work in the company’s premise.
• To oversee on all electrical maintenance activity at site. Direct involved in supervising critical electrical machinery maintenance.
• To set up comprehensive maintenance program to ensure execution and use as a tool to monitor and maintain the maintenance program.
• To work out the method statement of electrical maintenance work especially on critical and major maintenance work, as templates for reference.
• To execute and ensure the requirements of quality and operations are met and to implement a total preventive maintenance system.
• To improve maintenance personnel skills at high level of safety, competency, quality, and reliability.
• To execute on job training for chargeman on multiple maintenance skills and knowledge.
• To conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair and maintenance skills and knowledge.
• To develop cost reduction programs especially in electricity usage for the plant maintenance.
• To prepare and review or update standard operating procedure relating to plant engineering.
• To responsible for any repair works of building and facilities.
• To lead or participate lean manufacturing implementation and drive for continuous improvement.
• To participate in company activities pertaining to training, employee activity, firefighting, safety and health.
• To undertake job related tasks as assigned by superior/ the management.

Qualification & Experience:

• Registered and licensed competent BO Chargeman with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) Malaysia.
• Bachelor Degree in engineering with minimum 3 years of related working experience in manufacturing industry, or diploma in engineering with minimum 5 years of related working experience.
• Competent person related to workplace safety such as confined space, working at height, etc will be an added advantage.
• Well-versed with manufacturing plant related safety requirements and its compliances.
• Possess basic mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge in MS Office, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Good interpersonal, coordination and communication skills.
• Energetic, independent and good in time management.
• Good presentation skills.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per hour
