Location: Mentakab – Merapoh, Pahang

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised by relevant authorities.

- Professional Engineer (P.E./Ir.) registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is mandatory.

- Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

- Strong experience in slope stabilisation, geotechnical, earthworks, railway infrastructure or linear infrastructure projects is an added advantage.

- Excellent leadership, project coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage consultants, contractors, authorities and multiple stakeholders effectively.

- Possession of KTMB 038 Card will be an added advantage and given priority consideration.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead and supervise overall civil engineering and site supervision activities for slope stabilisation works along railway corridors.

- Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and relevant standards.

- Coordinate with KTMB, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and site issues.

- Monitor construction progress, quality assurance, safety compliance, and reporting requirements.

- Review and endorse construction drawings, method statements, inspection reports, and material submissions.

- Provide technical leadership to the supervision team and ensure project delivery in accordance with schedule and quality.
