Job Summary

Tanjung Renal Care is seeking a qualified, dedicated and compassionate Renal/Dialysis Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and professional nursing care to haemodialysis patients and ensuring that all dialysis procedures are carried out according to clinical standards and centre protocols.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct pre-, intra- and post-dialysis patient assessments.

· Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition throughout treatment.

· Prepare and operate dialysis machines and equipment according to the prescribed treatment.

· Perform AV fistula/AV graft cannulation and provide appropriate vascular access care.

· Monitor dialysis parameters and respond promptly to alarms and complications.

· Administer prescribed medications and treatments.

· Recognise and respond appropriately to dialysis-related complications and emergencies.

· Maintain strict infection-control and aseptic practices.

· Provide patient and family education regarding dialysis, fluid restriction, diet, medication compliance and vascular-access care.

· Maintain accurate and complete nursing and dialysis documentation.

· Conduct proper patient handover between shifts.

· Check dialysis and emergency equipment and report any faults promptly.

· Work closely with nephrologists, doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Mandatory Qualifications

· Diploma/Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.

· Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (LJM) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

· MUST possess a recognised Post Basic Certificate in Renal / Dialysis Nursing.

· Previous haemodialysis/renal nursing experience is preferred.

· Good clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.

· Responsible, disciplined, compassionate and able to work independently and as part of a team.

· Willing to work according to the centre's roster, including weekends and public holidays when required.
