As we continue to grow our brand and expand our reach, we're looking for a creative and proactive Content Creator Intern to help bring Helpling's services to life through engaging digital content. Working closely with our Marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to turn ideas into content that connects with audiences, showcases our services, and contributes to the growth of a leading regional brand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for someone who loves creating content and enjoys bringing ideas to life through video. As our Creative Content Intern, you'll work closely with the Marketing team to storyboard, film, edit and produce engaging content for our social media channels.

You'll create content that showcases Helpling's services, tells authentic customer and provider stories, and brings our brand to life across digital platforms. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of content from concept to execution, bringing fresh ideas and seeing them come to life.

This is a 3-month contract role ideal for someone looking to build their portfolio, gain hands-on experience, and make a visible impact in a fast-moving startup environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation

• Plan, storyboard and produce engaging short-form content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Film on-site at customer homes, company events or other approved locations when required.
• Edit videos with engaging pacing, captions, music and transitions suitable for social media.
• Design simple supporting graphics and creative assets where required.

Creative Ideation

• Research social media trends, viral content formats and creator best practices.
• Brainstorm fresh content ideas that align with Helpling's brand and marketing campaigns.
• Suggest new ways to increase audience engagement through creative storytelling.

Social Media Support

• Support the preparation and scheduling of content across social media platforms.
• Assist with basic community engagement and content optimisation where required

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Marketing team and other internal stakeholders to coordinate content shoots.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Support other marketing initiatives and creative projects as required.

SUCCESS PROFILE

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for creating engaging digital content, with a strong eye for storytelling, visual composition and social media trends.
• Confident planning, filming and editing short-form videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent.
• Basic design skills using Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or After Effects) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Students, fresh graduates, freelancers or individuals building a career in content creation are encouraged to apply.
