Borneo Food & Goods Hiring! Full Time Barista (Full-Time) in Sabah - Ricebowl

Greetings from Limau & Linen! We are a NON HALAL Western all day dining restaurant seeking for friendly, and passionate individuals to join our ever growing team.

If you know your way around an espresso machine, care about consistency, and take pride in every cup you serve — we want you.

We’re looking for baristas who understand workflow, respect the craft, and can deliver quality even when the bar gets slammed.

• Running the coffee bar with confidence during service

• Dialing in shots, maintaining consistency, and ensuring quality in every cup

• Delivering warm, attentive service — not just behind the bar, but with guests

• Supporting the team on the floor when needed (we work as one team)

• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and smooth workflow at all times

• At least 1 year experience as a barista — you know your fundamentals

• Comfortable operating an espresso machine in a fast-paced environment

• Latte art is a plus (but consistency matters more)

• Strong sense of urgency, cleanliness, and attention to detail

• Friendly, grounded, and able to connect with guests naturally

• A team player who shows up, stays accountable, and supports others

This role is best suited for baristas who:

• Can handle back-to-back orders during peak hours without compromising quality

• Understand dial-in, shot consistency, and milk texture (not just following steps)

• Are comfortable being on their feet for long hours and working weekends

• Don’t wait to be told what to do — you take initiative and read the flow of service

• Care about doing things properly, even when no one is watching

If you’re still learning the basics or prefer a slower-paced environment, this role may not be the right fit.

• RM2,100 – RM2,300/month (based on experience)

Full-time role. Must be available for weekends & public holidays.

• Opening: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Middle: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Closing: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Malaysian IC required

• Able to work in a non-halal restaurant

• Location: Likas, Kota Kinabalu (must be able to commute or relocate)
