Job Description
Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned network alarms, systems and services on a 24/7 shift basis.
- Detect, validate, correlate and prioritise alarms and service-impacting events.
- Create and update incident tickets with accurate impact, time, action, ownership and status information.
- Perform approved first-line troubleshooting within authorised access and competency.
- Execute approved backup, restoration or recovery actions only where covered by an authorised NOC runbook.
- Escalate incidents to the Shift Lead, Central Operations, Field Operations, vendors or service providers according to approved procedures.
- Follow up restoration progress and record technical, field and service-provider updates.
- Monitor approved maintenance, change, deployment and restoration activities and report abnormal service impact.
- Support post-activity monitoring and coordinate service validation with the relevant technical owner.
- Log operational information and actions relating to MNO, MCMC and YB complaints.
- Communicate incident status through approved internal and external communication channels.
- Maintain accurate incident chronology, operational evidence and communication records.
- Participate in complete shift handover covering active incidents, risks and outstanding actions.
- Participate in drills, audits, training and assigned corrective actions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and operational-process improvement.
