Corporate Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Corporate Development Manager to support the company's growth strategy, strategic investments, partnerships, and corporate development initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities, conduct financial and market analysis, and support strategic transactions and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of corporate growth and business development strategies.
• Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions, investments, partnerships, joint ventures, and other strategic opportunities.
• Conduct market, industry, competitor, and company research to support strategic decision-making.
• Build and review financial models, business cases, valuation analyses, and investment proposals.
• Conduct financial and commercial analysis of potential transactions and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate due diligence activities with Finance, Legal, Tax, Operations, and other relevant teams.
• Prepare investment memoranda, management presentations, board materials, and transaction documentation.
• Work with internal and external advisers throughout transaction and evaluation processes.
• Track and analyse market trends, industry developments, and potential opportunities.
• Support negotiations and transaction execution alongside senior management and relevant advisers.
• Monitor the progress and performance of completed investments, partnerships, or strategic initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and confidentiality throughout corporate development activities.
• Contribute to strategic projects and other business initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate finance, M&A, or a related field.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Understanding of valuation methodologies, financial statements, and corporate finance principles.
• Strong research and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• High level of attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions, investments, partnerships, or strategic projects is an advantage.
