DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall DC Operations
- Supervise daily DC activities, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and delivery coordination.
- Ensure DC has sufficient manpower, equipment, space and capacity to support current and future business requirements.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping, cleanliness, product quality and workplace safety.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain proper control over all stock movements within DC.
- Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to minimise stock loss, damage, wastage and shrinkage.
- Monitor stock levels, ageing, slow-moving, damaged and near-expiry inventory, and coordinate with relevant departments on appropriate actions.
- Ensure proper product handling, storage and stock rotation in line with product requirements and company standards.
- Ensure proper documentation and controls are maintained for receiving, inventory, stock transfers and dispatch activities.
Order Fulfillment & Distribution
- Manage order fulfilment and stock transfers to ensure outlet orders are picked accurately and dispatched according to schedule.
- Coordinate with Logistics on inbound and outbound shipment schedules, transportation arrangements and delivery-related issues.
Team Leadership & Manpower Management
- Lead and manage the DC team, including manpower planning, work allocation, shift arrangements, attendance, performance, discipline, coaching and training.
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, continuous improvement and operational excellence across DC.
Cost & Productivity Management
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity and resource utilisation while reducing unnecessary handling, overtime, wastage, storage and logistics costs.
SOP, Compliance, Safety & Quality
- Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out safely, accurately and in accordance with company SOPs, policies and operational standards.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections and investigations by providing accurate records and operational information.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Stores, Merchandising and Logistics to resolve stock availability, delivery and fulfilment issues that may affect outlet operations and sales.
- Work closely with Merchandising to align incoming shipments, stock availability, inventory requirements and outlet demand.
- Partner with Finance on stock reconciliation, inventory discrepancies, cost control and other inventory-related matters.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor DC productivity, labour utilisation, picking and receiving accuracy, order fulfilment, on-time dispatch and other operational KPIs.
- Provide management with regular updates on DC capacity, inventory risks, operational performance, service levels and improvement initiatives.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Minimum SPM qualification required; Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in DC, warehouse, distribution or supply chain operations, preferably within retail or FMCG.
- Proven experience leading and managing warehouse or DC teams, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop employees.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfilment, distribution processes, SOPs, safety and stock control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, hands-on and results-oriented approach to resolving operational challenges.
- Experience using WMS/ERP systems and other warehouse or inventory management tools, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Merchandising, Stores, Logistics, Finance and other departments.
- Strong commercial and cost awareness, with the ability to improve productivity and resource efficiency while managing changing requirements and maintaining service levels.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
