The Care Manager is responsible for generating leads, building relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and driving occupancy growth for the care facility. The role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, ensuring a positive customer experience from initial inquiry through admission. The Care Manager also develops referral networks, executes outreach initiatives, and supports marketing activities to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Inquiry Management
- Respond promptly to inquiries received via phone, email, social media, and walk-ins.
- Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and their families.
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable care and accommodation options.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective residents.
2. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective residents and their families.
- Develop professional relationships with hospitals, clinics, nurses, care advisors, social workers, and other referral sources.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and admission process.
3. Sales & Occupancy Growth
- Follow up consistently with prospective residents and referral sources.
- Guide prospects through the admission process and address concerns effectively.
- Achieve occupancy and revenue targets set by management.
- Identify opportunities to improve lead conversion rates.
4. Sales Planning & Marketing Support
- Assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
- Support promotional campaigns, community engagement activities, and events.
- Coordinate outreach programs to increase brand awareness and generate referrals.
5. CRM & Data Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inquiries, follow-ups, admissions, and referral sources in the CRM system.
- Ensure all customer interactions are documented in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track sales activities and outcomes.
6. Market Research & Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments.
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support business growth.
- Provide recommendations to enhance services and market positioning.
7. Business Development & Outreach
- Establish and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and corporate partners.
- Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and related organizations.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, roadshows, and industry functions.
8. Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Track occupancy performance, lead generation, and conversion metrics.
- Provide sales forecasts and recommendations for improvement.
9. Travel & External Engagement
- Attend out-of-town meetings, conventions, trade shows, and sales visits as required.
- Promote the company's services and strengthen industry relationships.
10. Other Duties
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the General Manager.
- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives when required.
