POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall Security Operation, Administration and General matters of OCH.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directs, administers and coordinates the activities of the Security Department and personnel engaged in the implementation of overall Safety & Security procedures for OCH.
• Develop security plans, operations and strategies for the conduct of security operation.
• Promote Environment, Health and Safety training and awareness programs.
• Plan and schedule the daily activities of security personnel to ensure that OCH is properly and adequately always secured.
• Conduct training and meets personnel to instruct them on the uses of First Aid Fire Appliances installed on the premises.
• Prepare Daily Situation report for the Management’s attention.
• Prepare annual security goals; develop working plans to carry out goals; compare actual accomplishments against goals periodically and take necessary corrective actions.
• Facilitate corrective actions for safety hazards through interactions with the management.
• Assist in Evacuation Drills and planning of emergency response procedures.
• To perform Manager On Duty (MOD) on weekdays and weekends.
• Ensure that all security staff is fully conversant with the operation of Security Surveillance System, Fire Detection System and other monitoring devices installed for the buildings.
• Implement procedures to ensure that OCH policies and guidelines are observed, relating to entry and exits of employees, suppliers, contractors, visitors and vehicles. This will include the discretionary right to search for persons and vehicles.
• Investigates the report of any theft and uses his sound judgement in dealing with such reported cases.
• Maintains cooperation with the police and fire authorities.
• Monitor performance of personnel, read the log entry to determine needs for action or follow-up, correct mistakes or irregularities of personnel.
• Performs duties common to all supervisors and other duties as may be assigned.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
