About The Role

Responsible welding works activities and other related workshop machining works inclusive of QA/QC documentation and upkeeping workshop and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform welding and related fabrication work according to approved drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Prepare welded joints for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and related inspections.
• Assist with fabrication and machining work as required.
• Complete and submit required QA/QC documentation accurately and on time.
• Comply with company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements, and support workplace safety initiatives.
• Operate, maintain, and properly store welding equipment, tools, and consumables. Report maintenance needs and monitor consumable stock as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Job Requirements

• Professional Certificate or Diploma in Welding Technology or equivalent.
• Valid 1G, 2G, and 3G SMAW/GTAW welding certificates.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic knowledge of welding standards and practices (e.g., ASME, BS, API).
• Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and related welding documents.
• Basic computer, electrical, and machining knowledge is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
