Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to handle materials in our halal food manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate will operate forklifts efficiently, support warehouse operations, and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Experience with reach trucks is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Material Handling

• Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials within the factory, shophouse and warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and storage racks.
• Ensure all materials are stacked and stored in an organized, safe manner according to warehouse layout and safety protocols.

2. Inventory Support

• Assist in inventory checks, stock counts, and record-keeping.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

3. Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Perform basic maintenance checks on the forklift before and after use (fuel, oil, brakes, lights, battery).
• Ensure the forklift is kept clean and in good working condition.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Follow halal food manufacturing standards and hygiene protocols while handling materials.
• Adhere strictly to safety rules, factory regulations, and traffic flow within the premises.

5. Support Production & Logistics

• Assist production and logistics teams with timely delivery of materials to production lines.
• Support loading/unloading during shipment preparation and dispatch.
• Cooperate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Valid forklift driving license and proven experience operating forklifts
• Experience with reach trucks is a plus
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety regulations
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions carefully
• Physical fitness and attentiveness to maintain safe operations

Working hour:

Mondays – Fridays (8.00am – 6.00pm)
