UNILIN Hiring! Full Time Technical Supervisor in Kedah - Ricebowl

We are inviting innovative, passionate, and forward-looking candidates to apply for the Technical Supervisor who will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant’s facilities, utilities, and supporting infrastructure. The role works closely with Production, Engineering, Safety, and other departments to maintain equipment reliability, minimise downtime, and support smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Facility Maintenance & Reliability – Leads preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, breakdown response, and root cause analysis to ensure reliable and efficient facility operations.
• Continuous Improvement & Optimisation – Drives initiatives to improve equipment reliability, energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, and overall system performance.
• Technical Leadership & Capability – Coaches technicians, strengthens technical standards, leads maintenance and improvement projects, and coordinates contractors and vendors to deliver quality technical solutions.
• Safety, Compliance & Documentation – Ensures maintenance activities comply with statutory, environmental, safety, and company requirements while maintaining accurate technical records, SOPs, and work instructions.
  

Education & Experience: Technical certificate or diploma with 3+ years’ maintenance or manufacturing experience; supervisory experience and TPM, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement knowledge preferred. Relevant certifications, such as Steam Engineer or Chargeman, are advantageous.
Behavioural Skills: Safety-focused, proactive, collaborative, and skilled in problem-solving, troubleshooting, ownership, coaching, and continuous improvement.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of facility and utility systems; experience in maintenance, TPM, fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, contractor coordination, documentation, improvement projects, energy and cost optimisation, and Microsoft Office or maintenance systems.
Physical Requirements: Physically fit for industrial maintenance work, including climbing, lifting, working at height or in confined spaces, and responding to emergencies, shifts, standby duties, or breakdowns outside normal hours.
