Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe operation, maintenance and supervision of electrical installations and systems.
- Carry out duties as a Chargeman in accordance with applicable regulations and safety requirements.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, inspection, testing, repair and preventive maintenance.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance for machines, equipment and facilities.
- Attend to machine breakdowns and ensure timely troubleshooting and repair to minimize downtime.
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians in daily maintenance activities.
- Monitor electrical systems, equipment conditions and identify potential safety hazards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and relevant authorities for maintenance, inspection and repair works.
- Ensure compliance with requirements from DOSH/JKKP, Energy Commission (ST), BOMBA and other relevant authorities.
- Maintain electrical licences, certificates, inspection records and other statutory documentation.
- Monitor maintenance spare parts, electrical components and critical maintenance materials.
- Support new machine installation, commissioning, automation and improvement projects.
- Monitor maintenance costs, machine downtime and maintenance performance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements and applicable laws.
- Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Valid Chargeman competency/certificate recognised by the relevant authority.
- Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, industrial maintenance or manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Able to lead and supervise maintenance technicians.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willing to work overtime or attend to emergency breakdowns when required.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
