We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Data Analyst (Mid-Senior) to translate complex retail data sets into high-value strategic insights. In this role, you will be instrumental in building statistical models, developing enterprise dashboards, and presenting actionable recommendations directly to key business leaders to drive growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Aggregate, sanitize, and validate multi-source data to build reliable, high-integrity analytical models across retail operations.
• Analyze large, multi-channel datasets to spot market trends, consumer patterns, and business growth opportunities.
• Design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards and reporting systems using Advanced Excel and modern BI visualization tools.
• Collaborate with commercial and cross-functional leadership to define KPIs, measure performance metrics, and align analytical deliverables with key corporate goals.
• Identify opportunities to automate routine reporting and partner with Data Engineering and IT teams to refine data warehouse architectures and storage models.
• Promote internal data quality assurance standards, documentation, and governance frameworks.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying, along with advanced expertise in Excel and statistical modeling.
• Hands-on experience developing intuitive dashboards and visual reports using enterprise BI tools.
• Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to facilitate business communication with regional & international stakeholders.
• Self-driven with strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
